✔ Nationality
Must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent Resident of Assam.
✔ Employment Exchange Registration
Mandatory for all applicants.

Must speak Assamese or any other recognised state language.

Selection Process for Assam Police Constable 2025
The recruitment includes three phases:
1️⃣ Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
For Male Candidates (AB) – 60 marks
Race (3200 m) – 20 marks
Long Jump – 20 marks
Chin-Up – 20 marks
For Female Candidates & UB Posts – 40 marks
Race (1600 m) – 20 marks
Long Jump – 20 marks
All PET events will be monitored by CCTV & RFID chips.
2️⃣ Medical Examination
Candidates must be:
- Physically fit
- Free from deformities
- Normal eyesight (6/6 & 6/9)
- No flat foot / knock knee / varicose veins
3️⃣ Physical Standard Test (PST)
No marks — only qualifying. Includes measurement of:
- Height
- Chest (for males)
4️⃣ Written Test – 50 Marks
- 100 MCQs (0.5 marks each)
- OMR based
- No negative marking

- 75% and above → 5 marks
